Sharks opening half signs loan deal with Israeli club

israeli club Heat of Tel Aviv announced the signing of the Sharks opener Jordan chait short term until December 20.
Chait has been under contract with the Sharks since 2019 after playing for Maties in the Varsity Cup.
He was named among the three “Support this rock” and scored 125 points including six tries. This made him the second all-time leading scorer behind Demetri Catrakilis, who will be one of his assistant coaches at the Tel Aviv Heat.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for Jordan to get the much needed playing time in Europe and this experience will definitely benefit him in the future,” said the CEO of Sharks. Edouard Coetzee said in a declaration.
Chait was captain of the SACS 1er XV in 2015, the oldest school in South Africa, and then attended the prestigious WP Rugby Institute in Stellenbosch in 2016. He represented WP at the U18, U19 and U21 levels and won the Varsity Cup with Stellenbosch in 2018 and 2019.
Kevin musikanth, former UCT coach and director of rugby for the Tel Aviv Heat, added: “We are very grateful to the Sharks for agreeing to lend us Jordan. Jordan is an exceptional player and I look forward to coaching him. again. He’s sure to lead from the front as a hub and we’re all very excited to have been able to work with the Sharks and I can’t wait for Jordan to light up the Super Cup. “
Meanwhile, in recent weeks, the Tel Aviv Heat have signed a number of South African players, including Sebastiaan Jobb, Jared sichel, Thembinkosi Mangwana, Cal Smid and Xolisa Guma.
Tel Aviv will participate in the European Rugby Supercup.
