RCMP investigate reported assault at Tim Hortons in Westbank | infonews

West Kelowna RCMP are investigating a suspected assault after a person was injured at a Tim Hortons last weekend.
Officers responded to a report of an assault at 2330 Route 97 in Westbank that took place at approximately 12:28 a.m. on March 27, West Kelowna RCMP Sgt. Duncan Dixon said via email.
RCMP are interviewing witnesses and collecting surveillance video footage.
The victim of the alleged assault reported minor injuries and no suspects have been identified, Dixon said.
The motive for the assault is unknown at this time, he said.
The Tim Hortons restaurant manager did not immediately return a request for comment.
