No need to be a numerologist to understand why the singer Assaf Amdoursky Releasing their new album, 432, in partnership with Factory 54, on Monday, August 30 – but it helps. The individual numbers in 432 add up to nine and so do 54.

Nine is a number that has significance in several religious and universal traditions, including Judaism. The miraculous month of Kislev is called in the Bible the ninth month after Nissan, the month of Passover and spring. Nissan is one of the four Jewish New Years. The first rainbow after the biblical flood was seen in Kislev and is considered an everlasting alliance between the Divine Creator, Earth, and mankind. Kislev is the month of Hanukkah in which Jews commemorate the miracle of the tiny amount of oil in the Temple which lasted for eight days instead of just one. The Chanukah menorah, which symbolizes this miracle, has nine branches – eight for each of the days the oil lasted, plus one from which each of the Chanukah lights is lit. Keeping in mind that each letter of the Hebrew alphabet has some sort of mystical meaning, Twice nine is 18, which is written alphabetically as Hai, which means life.

For Buddhists, nine is an important number because it is believed that Buddha had nine virtues.

Christians cite nine biblical “fruits of the spirit” – namely love, joy, peace, tolerance, kindness, kindness, faithfulness, meekness and self-control – which are said to be the result of the influence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believing Christian. Moreover, in the New Testament, according to Matthew 27:46, Jesus died at the ninth hour. The verse says: “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying: Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? Which translates to “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

In Hinduism, nine is the number of Brahma, the creator, and for Muslims, Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer, introspection, and community, falls on the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.

The Bahá’í writings state that the number nine is “the number of perfection and the highest number, symbolizing completeness and climaxes.”

This is reflected in one of the key symbols of the Bahá’í Faith in which the nine-pointed star represents the unity, truth and oneness of all religions. Nine is still underlined in Bahá’í temples around the world which all have nine sides.

Then, of course, there is the Universal Proof of Nine, regardless of race or creed, in which the entire process of birth takes nine months.

Some well-known figures in the entertainment industry who have indicated that they will celebrate with Amdursky include Shlomi Shaban, Rona Kenan, Eric Berman, Hadar Ashton, Marina Maximilian, Yermi Kaplan, Shuli Rand, Tzofit Grant, Moshiko Gamliel, Peter Roth, Doron Tsabari, Yael Abecassis, Ran Danker, Rivka Michaeli, Netta Barzliai and many more.

Amdursky will be giving a live performance of some of the songs on the album. Profits from sales at the launch will be donated to charity.

â–  On THE same date, and at the same time, opposite Tel Aviv, the singer Rita, at the invitation of Chemi Peres, president of the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, will read excerpts from her book Raindrops over Chad against a background of Persian music performed by the Sasson orchestra. The event was organized by Yona Bartal, founder and director of the Friends of the Father Center. Rita first met Shimon Peres while dating her ex-husband Rami kleinstein whose parents lived in the same building on Oppenheim Street, Tel Aviv. She sometimes met Peres in the elevator, and he was unfailingly polite. In recent years, he has occasionally attended events in which the star performer was, and when he was president, he invited her to sing at state dinners and lunches as well as other events. in the president’s residence.

Over the past decade, Rita has returned to her Persian roots, singing in the language of her childhood in Tehran. Politics aside, it has had huge success in Iran.

â–  Whatever the coronavirus cabinet’s final decision regarding Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services, there will be congregations that will hold out-of-home services as was the case last year when most synagogues were been closed. The Tishrei holiday period is the revenue season for most congregations when membership is renewed or when places for Great Holy Day services are sold. Some people are willing to pay a small fortune to have the privilege of having a seat permanently reserved for them, although this sometimes leads to inconvenience when someone who has not paid for a seat takes one that has been. paid and is reluctant. move when the person authorized to sit there introduces himself. This does not happen in the congregation of Rabbi Yisroel Goldberg, the director of the Chabad of Rehavia in Jerusalem, who realizes that not everyone can afford to pay a seat – certainly not some of the large Chabad families. But not everyone who joins his congregation is Chabadnik. They are just reacting to the sign he puts up each year: “We have reserved a place for you. Last year, its field services spread so far into the street that some of the chairs were placed on the street. Passers-by on their way to or from other congregations simply joined in because Goldberg’s service was so friendly and welcoming.

â–  IT IS SENSITIVE that where there are two Jews, there are three opinions. Former directors general of the Ministry of Health are divided in their opinions, as are the national coordinators of the coronavirus project, the first of which was Professor Ronni Gamzu, CEO of the Sourasky Medical Center, who is also a former director general of the Ministry of Health. Health. In an interview last week with Israel Hayom, Gamzu, who in the past has rampaged over the politicization of the pandemic, has declared his opposition to a future lockdown, saying the coronavirus is not going away anytime soon and the public needs to learn to live with it. But perhaps more important psychologically, Gamzu bemoans the daily publication of the latest statistics on the coronavirus, the absolute accuracy of which he doubts. Let’s be honest, it would be so nice to go through the day without hearing a single mention of the coronavirus or reading about it in the papers. The status quo is depressing and ineffective unless you have a parent, know someone who has been infected with the virus and is either very ill or has died. This gives antivaxxers a wake-up call. The recent increase in queues of people queuing for booster injections may have less to do with worrying about their health and that of their families, than the awareness they will have. no access to many places without proof of vaccination. This threat seems to have been more effective than anything else. After more than a year and a half, statistics may be limited to weekend summaries.

â–  LAST WEEK, after 15 years in prison, Roman Zadorov was released and placed under house arrest pending a new trial for the 2006 murder of schoolgirl Ta’ir Rada. The victim’s mother, Ilana Rada, has repeatedly stated that she does not believe Zadorov is guilty. This opinion was also shared by forensic experts, but Zadorov was nonetheless sentenced to life imprisonment. Meanwhile, internationally renowned Israeli actress, model and TV host Moran Atias has become very friends with Ilana Rada. The two have developed such a close relationship that they are almost like a mother and daughter. Atias wants to make a documentary series, funded by his own production company, about what Ilana Rada has endured since the death of her daughter and the subsequent death of her husband. This will not be the first series based on the multiple tragedies resulting from the brutal murder of teenager Ta’ir. Shadow of truth, a four-part series released by Netflix, deals with the controversy surrounding Zadorov’s conviction. In the event that he could be acquitted next time, there will undoubtedly be at least one more documentary series to illustrate what happens to innocent people wrongly convicted. Victims of such injustice sit behind bars around the world, in part because hypnosis and truth drugs are inadmissible evidence. However, if the laws were to change and such people agreed to take truth drugs and were questioned before a panel of judges, many more innocent people would be released. If Zadorov is cleared, how will he be compensated for the 15 years lost of his life?
