14-year-old girl dies on school trip to Galilee

A 14-year-old girl died on Tuesday after being found unconscious on a school trip to northern Israel.
The victim was identified as Suha Mondar Zabhana, a resident of Haifa.
Zabhana was on a go-kart track with her classmates near the town of Ma’alot. She was found inside one of the cars, which was not moving.
The girl is believed to have suffered from a heart condition, but there was no immediate word on the official cause of death.
It was not known that his death was linked to the karting activity. The police did not announce an investigation.
Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya said the teenager underwent life support for an hour at the scene before being taken to hospital in critical condition.
Once at the hospital, medical personnel continued their efforts to resuscitate her for another 20 minutes, before pronouncing her dead.
“We share the family’s grief,” the hospital said in a statement.
